Four Praja Muda Bahari Boats in Thousand Islands Trialled

The result is good enough and complete as planned, but for further technical results will be reported by BKI

The Thousand Islands District conducted a sea trial for Praja Muda Bahari boats 5, 6, 7 and 8 on Ayer Island, South Thousand Islands, on Friday (9/13).

Thousand Islands Vice Regent Junaedi said that those four boats were procured in 2018 and arrived in September 2019.

Locals Appreciate Thousand Islands Inter-Island Boat Service

This trial was conducted along with the management, the Indonesian Classification Bureau (BKI) and overseen by the District Inspectorate and the North Jakarta Prosecutors Office (Kejari).

"Each boat must under go feasible test that aims to ensure whether it is in accordance with the procurement plan or not," he expressed.

Its trial included from design, body, engine, speed, maneuver, as well as device, interior and accessories.

"The result is good enough and complete as planned, but for further technical results will be reported by BKI," he explained.

With these boats, it is hoped able to support the performance of civil servants in Thousand Islands in n activities and as a means of transportation work.

"So public service in the future can be more maximal," he stated.
